Burning of the Canes Event
Barangaroo Wines presents “Burning of the Canes”.
The burning of the canes is a celebration marking the end of the Winter season and completion of pruning.
It also welcomes bud burst in the vineyard and the coming of Spring.
This ancient French tradition continues at Barangaroo Wines after 2 years of Covid restrictions.
Let’s welcome the new season and raise a glass to celebrate the “Burning of the Canes”.
Saturday 8th October 2022
From 6 pm until 9.30 pm.
Live music @ 6.30 pm
Cane fire lit from 7.30 pm, Food as pre purchased or paid for on the night is available from 6.30 pm. (NO BYO)
(Selection from pulled pork or pulled chicken burgers with slaw and crisps or a platter board for 1).
Drinks at bar prices. (NO BYO)
Bubbles, white, red and rose’ wine, beer, cider & soft drink.
Ticketed event - $45 per person
(Includes first glass of wine, beer or cider, the live music,
and the ceremony bonfire)
This is an outdoor event so dress appropriately :)
Food purchased with your online booking are guaranteed. If purchased on the night will be subject to availability @ $15 each.
Bus available from Horsham Cheap as Chips car park at approximately 6pm and leaving Barangaroo Wines for Horsham at 9.30 pm @ $10 and can be purchase as an optional extra to your event booking.
Flamme Discovery Day
Barangaroo Wines brings you something new to Victoria.
The Flammekueche (Flamme for short) Discovery Day.
A delicious replacement for pizza. The flammekueche is a flat bread with toppings originating in France.
Sunday 12th March 2023 (Labour Day long weekend)
12 pm until 5 pm ( Roaming Flamme tastings between 2 pm and 3 pm of a number of different toppings)
Normal platters available from 12 pm until 2 pm and must be preordered.
The Discovery day also allows for tastings of our full range of soon to be released 2021 red wines.
Sparkling Vermentino Cocktail Spritzers available.
